We had such a busy week in kindergarten! Lot of learning happening :) Please remember that the reading books sent home should be "easy" right now. I'll be moving students up levels in the next few weeks. The books sent home are the level they tested at and are meant to boost their confidence in reading right now and ensuring they are not frustrated. Students should be pointing to each word (unless they are above a level C) and using the pictures for help (don't cover up the pictures).
Thursday is our field trip to Amazing Acres in Edwardsburg/Mason, Michigan. We'll probably arrive around 9:20 and we'll be returning to school at 1:10. Parents are welcome to meet us there, but keep in mind they'll be with their 8th grade buddy the whole time. Please pack a bag lunch on Thursday. Students may wear jeans and their Friday shirt or school uniform shirt. Please dress your children warmly as we'll be outside!
Starting Monday, students may not wear shorts to school.
There is no hot lunch next Friday so please plan accordingly.
