All About Miss Carey

My name is Tara Carey.  I'm thrilled to be your child's kindergarten teacher!  I've been known around school for the past three years as Señorita Carey for the past few years as I was the Spanish teacher.  Before I started teaching at Christ the King, I taught K-8 Spanish in Penascola, Florida.  My favorite thing about teaching at Christ the King is being able to teach in a Catholic environment with wonderful students and teachers.

I am originally from Tampa, Florida and I love the Tampa Bay Rays.  I attended the University of Notre Dame, where I received my Bachelors degree and Masters degree.  I am also a Notre Dame football, baseball, and basketball fan.

When I am not at school, I love to read, cook, and travel.  Some of my favorite places in the world are Florida, Spain, Japan, and Dominican Republic.
