Here is the information for when your child is VIP.
Monday- Poster
Bring
your VIP poster to share with the class (sent home with your child the week
before). There is a sample of the poster
on Miss Carey’s blog. Students can place
photos, drawings, pictures from magazines, and other items on their
posters. The categories are

Favorite Place
Tuesday- Show and Tell
Bring
in a special item to share during morning meeting (please nothing
valuable!).
Wednesday- Favorite Book
Bring
in your favorite book for Miss Carey to read to the class.
Thursday- Guest Reader
Invite
a guest reader to come and read to our class from 2:15-2:45. This can be a parent, sibling, grandparent,
neighbor, or friend. If that time does
not work for your guest reader, please let me know so that we can arrange
another time. Guests must check-in at
the office before coming to the classroom.
They may bring books from home or read books from our classroom
library.
Friday- Stuffed Animal
Bring
in a stuffed animal to keep at your desk throughout the day. The stuffed animal should be no bigger than a
plastic grocery bag.
