- In March we will be doing a community helpers unit. We will have a dress-up day: "What You Want to Be When You Grow Up". Keep this in mind as you are shopping for Halloween costumes and they go on sale after Halloween!
- I sent home Scholastic book orders. For every book you order, our class earns points to buy books for our classroom library. Please return these orders by October 18th. There will be an order form that goes home each month with themed booked as well as kindergarten-appropriate books.
- We will start our VIP student of the week next week. There are more details in your child's folder. See a sample poster below.
- Many students are forgetting to bring a snack for our afternoon snack time. Please send a snack, labeled with your child's name, Monday-Thursday. Friday is our cooking lesson and they do not need a snack.
- Field trip permission slips are due Monday. Please let Katie Neeser know if you would like to go.
- Please do not let your students bring toys to school. During their VIP week, they can bring in items for show and tell.
- The first name of your child's 8th grade buddy went home in the folders today. That is just for your reference.
